About

Biography

Children with severe heart disease once had few clinical options. While we’ve made many advances, it’s still critical that we improve therapeutic options and develop new approaches.

At Cincinnati Children’s, I care for children with complex medical needs and severe heart disease. This includes children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, RASopathies, and those in need of ventricular assist device therapy and heart transplant.

My research is focused on finding ways to provide care to children and young adults with heart disease who have limited access to advanced therapies.

MD: University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, OH, 2007.

Residency: Pediatrics, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH.

Certification: American Board of Pediatrics, 2010; Pediatric Cardiology, 2014.
